Antoine Young Arrested

Police have made an arrest in the first Charlotte homicide case of 2011.
Antoine Dion Young, 29, was taken into custody Monday night at his father's house on Enfield Road in north Charlotte and charged in the death of Christopher Julian Radok, 55, earlier in the day.
Police had been called to check on the welfare of Radok and when they got to his residence on Purser Drive early Monday afternoon, they found him dead inside the house. Investigators say Radok had been stabbed, and there were signs of a struggle.
Police have not said what led them to Young, but they say they believe he broke into the victim's home and attacked him when he returned there from work. Young has been charged with murder, armed robbery and larceny of a vehicle.
Investigators say they have not found Radok's 2001 Jeep Cherokee. Anyone with information about the missing vehicle is asked to call police at 704-432-TIPS, or they can call Crime Stoppers, 704-334-1600. The missing vehicle is gray with N.C. tags WPH-5769.
